Problem / Situation
It is important to our psychological and physical health to spend time outdoors. Often, buildings are designed in such a way that we do not have convient access to outdoor spaces as part of our inhabiting of those buildings.

Often, rooftop spaces are wasted or under-utilized. Particularly in urban settings where un-built-upon land is scarce, and for buildings where flat roofs are being utilized, rooftops create a perfect opportunity for outdoor space.
